Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. The city describes itself as “Das neue Herz Europas” (“The new heart of Europe”) and promotes tourism extensively and its slogan is “Stuttgart is more”.

The Staatsgalerie (State Gallery) has been one of the most visited German museums is home to the works from the 14th to the 19th century as well as the graphic collection with its extensive inventory of drawings, water paintings, collages, printed graphics, illustrated books, posters and photographs.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum has more than 120 years of innovative automobile history displayed on three floors: the first automobiles in the world by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, the first Mercedes.
